What kind of hand luggage is allowed?

Transavia
Each passenger of 2 years and older is allowed to bring 1 accessory and 1 piece of hand luggage:

  • Total up to 10 kg
  • Max. dimensions accessory 40 x 30 x 20 cm
  • Max. dimensions hand luggage 55 x 35 x 25 cm incl. handles and wheels

 
Small bags such as a handbag, laptop bag or camera bag also count as 1 piece.


Passengers may take 1 piece of hand luggage such as a trolley (55x35x25 cm) and an accessory such as a small handbag or laptop bag (40x30x20 cm) on board. Together it may weight 10 kg.
The accessory can always be taken on board. 
You place the larger hand luggage in the overhead compartments on board. There is room for 70, so once the compartments are full, the luggage will be collected when boarding and placed in the hold. After the flight, you can retrieve your luggage from the baggage carousel.

 

Transavia introduces a new service for more confort on board; reservation of cabinespace for larger hand luggage in combination with priority boarding. The fee starts at € 5,- per person per flight and only possible if you book this yourself via Transavia selfservice, based on availability and 5 days prior to departure.

 

How many pieces of hand luggage can I take with me for my baby?

It is not allowed to bring separate hand luggage for a baby up to 2 years.
Would you like to take baby food, a nappy bag or other items for your baby with you in the cabin? Please put them in your own hand luggage.

You are allowed to bring a foldable stroller up to 10 kg to the gate. The foldable stroller will be taken from you at the gate and transported in the hold. The buggy is included the 10 kg check-in luggage that you can take with you for your baby.

Brussels Airlines
Each passenger of 2 years and older is allowed to bring 1 piece of hand luggage and 1 accessory:

  • Up to 8 kg
  • Max. dimensions 55 x 40 x 23 cm incl. Handles and wheels for handluggage
  • Max. dimensions 40 x 10 x 30 cm incl. Handles and wheels for the accessory

Small bags such as a handbag, laptop bag or camera bag count as 1 accessory.

On busy flights, it could happen that hand luggage will be collected at the gate. This luggage will then be transported (free of charge) in the hold. After the flight, you can retrieve your luggage from the baggage carousel together with the checked baggage, if any.

If your luggage will be going in the hold, you are permitted to take out any valuables, documents, electronic devices or medicine first. We recommend placing these items in a separate bag at home so that you can access them easily during the flight.

How many pieces of hand luggage can I take with me for my baby/child?

If you have not prebooked and paid your hold luggage in advance, you can purchase additional hold luggage at the Airport representative of ML Tours. The rates per one way are higher and as follow:

  • 15kg = 45 euro
  • 20kg = 60 euro
  • 25kg = 75 euro
  • 30kg = 90 euro
  • 40kg = 120 euro
  • 50kg = 150 euro

 

You can also buy additional hold luggage at Transavia during check-in, but the rates will be higher than ML Tours charges. 

 

How many pieces of hold luggage can I take with me for my baby?
For your baby (up to 2 years), you may take 1 piece of hold luggage of up to 10 kg. This can be a trolley, pram or folding buggy, for example. The hold luggage must be handed in at the check-in desk at the airport. A folding buggy is hold luggage, but you can take it for convenience as far as the gate. If you would like to take more hold luggage for your baby, you can affordably book extra kilos yourself.

 

You may divide the luggage over several pieces up to a maximum of 5.

Brussels Airlines
For every passenger of 2 years and older, it is possible to book hold luggage on the Brussels Airlines flight directly at ML Tours via (+31) 020 722 0 722.

 

Please find the fare and rules below:

 

  • 23kg = 30 euro

 

  • Max. dimensions 158 cm (l x b x h) incl. handles, wheels and pockets
  • Max. total weight:  23 kg per person

 

We strongly recommend that you stick to the luggage allowance. If the total weight and/or the max. dimension of your hold luggage is exceeded, an excess luggage fee will be charged at the check-in counter.


The costs of excess luggage are:

  • Luggage over 23kg till max. 32 kg € 50,- per one way.
  • Luggage larger than 158 cm € 50,- per one way.
  • If luggage is both too large and too heavy (24kg - 32kg) € 100,- per one way.

 

If you want to take a second piece of hold luggage, Brussels Airlines will charge:

  • Max. weight 23kg € 80,- per one way.
  • For extra weight till max. 32kg € 130,- per onway.
  • For a suit case bigger than 158 cm € 130,- per one way.
  • If the hold luggage is too big and too heavy € 180,- per one way. 

 

It is not possible to book this in advance at ML Tours, you can only arrange this at the airport!
Please be aware that hold luggage can be refused and therefore will not be accepted for the flight!

What should I do if my luggage has been damaged / lost?

You will find all practical information about lost, delayed or damaged luggage on the website of the related airline company:

If your luggage is damaged, we recommend in general that you contact your insurance company. The liability of the Airline Company is namely limited regarding damaged luggage. Most insurance policies cover this loss based on the value of your possessions. If you don’t have a travel insurance, you can request compensation from the airline.

When should I check-in for my flight?

Go the airport on time.
Make sure that you will be 3 hours before departure at the airport. You can check-in at one of the check-in desks of the related airline company. Be sure to keep your E-ticket, passport or national identity card and your Covid-19 documents where you can reach it easily.
Make sure you have checked in and handed in any hold luggage before the check-in desk closes. Keep in mind that there may be long check-in and waiting times at the airport, so please go to the airport on time! Even in case of a delay, you have to be at the airport to check-in based on the original departure time.

One week before your departure you will receive a service e-mail from us with, among other things, the exact information about the check-in time.

 

 

Online check-in with Transavia
You can check-in online from 30 hours up to 4 hours before departure for the Transavia flights.
After checking in, you can print or download your boarding pass to your smartphone. Please take this with you to the airport.

 
Online check-in with Brussels Airways
It is only possible to check in online if you are flying to Al Hoceima with Brussels Airlines. Unfortunately, this is not possible for flights to Nador, Rabat and Tangier.
You can check in online from 24 hours to 4 hours before departure for Brussel Airways flights.
After check-in, you can print or download your boarding pass to your smartphone. Please take it with you to the airport.

Which travel documents do I need for Morocco?

Your ticket
You will find your flight ticket in the annex of your booking confirmation.
If you can not find this email, please contact our customer care team and they will send you this email again.

Your passport or national identity card
You will need a valid passport or national identity card. You can’t check-in with an expired or damaged document. Check with the consulate for the country you are flying to or the website for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs whether you require a passport or national identity card for your trip and how long it should be valid for.

A visa
If a visa is required for a destination depends not only on the destination itself, but also on your nationality. Depending on you nationality, you are required to purchase a visa beforehand. Please, make sure to check this well ahead of your trip by contacting the consulate of embassy for the country to be visited or on the website for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

How do I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your flight(s) during working days/office hours from:

  • Monday till Friday from 09.30 AM till 6 PM
  • Saturday from 09.30 AM till 4 PM
  • Sunday closed

A cancellation outside these days/hours will be treated on the following working day.

Please note that we do not reimburse the cost of tickets. You can contact your insurance company and see if they will give you a refund.
If you bought a cancellation coverage at ML Tours, you will receive a part or the entire amount of your paid ticket price depending on the cancellation time. On our website you can find more details about this.

Which changes are possible and what are the changefees?

You can easily change your ticket to a new departure date with us via my mltours. To log in you need your booking number and a surname. Or you call our customer care team during office hours via (+31) 020 722 0 722.

Which changes are possible?                           
You can change the following things in your booking:

  • departure airport
  • arrival airport
  • departure date
  • date of birth (only by phone)
  • gender (only by phone)

If you bought a cancellation coverage at ML Tours, you can change the name on the ticket, according to the rules of the cancellation coverage. In all other cases, a name change is not possible.

 

How much is the change fee?

  • Up to 75 hours before the flight time you pay €50 per person per route for administrative costs. In addition, the price difference between the old and the new rate will be charged. If the new rate is lower than the old rate, no refund/reduction will be applied.
     
  • 75 to 27 hours before flight departure you pay €120 per person per route in administrative costs for a change. In addition, the price difference between the old and the new rate will be charged. If your old ticket (incl. baggage) has cost less than the change fee of €120 to be paid, the new change fee will be the same as your old ticket (incl. baggage). If the new rate is lower than the old rate, no refund/reduction will be applied.
     
  • 27 hours before flight departure and on the flight day itself, in the event of a change, the complete new ticket price per person and per route will be charged as administration costs.

 

If you have made a spelling mistake, you must contact the customer care center by phone or email immediately after making your booking and request that the spelling mistake be corrected. No fee will be charged for the correction of the spelling error - at the discretion of ML Tours. By misspelling we mean a small typing error in the name, gender or date of birth.
If the spelling error is not reported until later or is noticed by ML Tours, you will have to pay € 50,- per person per journey. This also applies if the name is not written correctly and completely according to the passport.

 

If you have already booked luggage, your checked luggage will automatically be added to your new flight in the event of a change at your request, provided it concerns the same airline. If you change to another airline, your purchased luggage will automatically expire and you must, if desired, purchase additional luggage for your new flight.

 

If you have made a new booking in the period 04/06/2021 - 30/06/2021 & 21/09/2021 - 31/05/2022, you will receive our Relax guarantee for free and you will not pay any change costs up to 75 hours before departure.

How is it possible that the ticket prices could be vary?

The ticket prices are determined by costs and also through supply and demand. The difference in price is a result of yield management; a way of working whereby ML Tours tries to optimize the flight in the best way.

 

Until when can I travel during my pregnancy?

If you are pregnant and in normal health, without a history of premature births and without complications, you can fly until 36 weeks into your pregnancy. After 36 weeks, you may no longer fly for your own health and that of your baby.

How do I reserve a seat?

It is only possible to book a seat in advance for Transavia flights.

You can book a seat via My Transavia from 120 hour till 48 hours prior to departure. If you do not reserve a seat, you can choose from the remaining available seats when you check in online.
If you check in at the airport, the check-in employee will assign you a seat. This may mean you and your travel companion(s) will not be seated next to one another.

What should I do if I do not used my flight?

If you have not used your outbound flight / missed your outbound flight, your return flight will be automatically expire. If you still want to make use of your return flight, please contact our Customer Care Team as soon as possible. In some cases we offer you the possibility to use the return flight for an additional fee of € 100,-

 

Is my child allowed to travel alone?

Will your child be travelling alone?
Assistance is required for children aged 5 to 12 who are travelling alone against a fee.
Children aged 12 to 16 years can travel alone. Would you prefer your child to be accompanied? This would be possible and can be requested at the related airline company.

Whether you want to park for a long or short time at Quick Parking Rotterdam Airport, everybody is offered the same service. In addition, the short term parking at Quick Parking Rotterdam is much more cheaper than parking at Rotterdam Airport. For example; it saves you more than half, if you park your car for 2 days and from 3 days you will save more than 40% at Quick Parking Rotterdam Airport compared the Parking at the airport it selves.

How do I request group travel?

From which age is it allowed to fly for my baby?

Your baby may only travel by plane, 7 days after birth.

Update 03-10-2022
Morocco has determined per September 30th that all travelrestrictions are cancelled.
Only a health declaration form must be completed.
For residents of Morocco, the rules have not changed. They still need a valid vaccinationpass to leave Morocco for a flight to The Netherlands or Belgium.

Update 19-05-2022
In addition to the update released on 18/05; a valid vaccination is a double vaccination or a single dose of Janssen less than 4 months old. If it is older, a booster is considered a valid vaccination. If you have an expired vaccine, you are not vaccinated and you must present a negative PCR test. The PCR test must not be older than 72 hours. Concerning children: No access conditions are applied for children under 12 years old.

Morocco has determined that you can travel to Morocco with a negative PCR test less than 48 hours old or a valid vaccination pass.

 

Update 07-02-2022

The Moroccan government has decided that flights can again be operated between the Netherlands/Belgium and Morocco from February 7. ML Tours has purchased additional flights with our partner Transavia. We offer flights from 28 February from Rotterdam Airport to Al Hoceima and vice versa. Update 13-01-2022

Until further notice, the Moroccan government has decided that no flights can be operated between the Netherlands and Morocco from October 21, 2021. Since December 31, 2021, no more flights can be operated between Belgium and Morocco.
Transavia and Brussels Airlines have therefore canceled all flights from this date.
Given the uncertain situation, ML Tours has decided to cancel flights from the Netherlands until March 31, 2022 and from Belgium until April 2, 2022. Affected passengers, who have booked until this date, received an email from us.
ML Tours and Transavia/Brussels Airlines expect flights to and from Morocco to be allowed again from the beginning of April.
The first flight from Rotterdam to Al Hoceima is scheduled for April 7 and Nador is scheduled for April 1. The first flight from Brussels to Al Hoceima is scheduled for April 30.
As soon as we have more information, we will keep you informed on this page.
 
Please note that due to the uncertainty of the duration of the suspension of flights, we cannot currently guarantee that the short term flights available on our website to and from Morocco can be operated. Keep an eye on our website for the latest updates.

Morocco is allowing all passengers again. A PCR-test or vaccination pass is no longer needed.
You still have to fill in a health declaration form.
For residents of Morocco, the rules as per 07/02/2022 are still valid. They still need a valid vaccinationpass to leave Morocco for a flight to The Netherlands or Belgium.

1. What Corona rules apply for Marocco?
We depend on the Moroccan Government for the Corona measures. You are responsible for knowing these measures and for observing them. The measures are subject to change. Keep yourself well informed about the conditions and entry requirements you must meet to travel to Morocco. You can find this information on the following websites. If you do not have the correct documents with you or if you comply with the measures, you will be denied access to the flight.

2. Will I get my money back if my flight is cancelled?
If there is a cancellation of your ticket(s), we will send you an email in which we confirm your canceled ticket(s). In this email we mention as well how and when we will compensate your ticket(s).
For all, by ML Tours, cancelled flights you will get your money back through through following options:
* A voucher with the credit of the amount of your cancelled ticket(s);
* Change to a different date/destination without change fee. You only pay the price difference;
* refund of your cancelled ticket(s).
 
 
3. What are the conditions of the voucher?
You will receive an email from us if your flight has been cancelled. The value of your cancelled flight will be converted into a voucher. With this voucher you can book a new flight with us at a later time.
 
Voucher's conditions:
- The voucher has no expiration date.
- You can use the voucher for our flights until 31 October 2022 and beyond when more flights are published.
- You do not have to spend your voucher in one go. If there is an amount left over, you can use it for a subsequent booking, until the balance has run out or the validity date has expired.
 
Rebooking:
Tickets can be rebooked to a later time at the same destination without any modification costs. Rebooking is possible until the end of October 2022. You must pay the possible price difference between your old and new ticket however.
 
How can I use my voucher?
Your old booking number is your voucher code.
If you want to make a new booking and would like to use your voucher for this, you can easy rebook via https://www.mltours.nl/nl/Account/AccountPage the old flights to a new date. For login you need your booking number and 1 last name.
 
You need to contact our Customer Care Team by phone during working hours in case you would like to make a new booking with different passengers or if you want to use 2 vouchers for 1 booking.
Please have your old booking number available during the call.
 
 
4. I have booked a return flight, and one of the flights has been canceled. Will I get everything back?
Even if we only cancelled one of your flights within the same booking number, you will still receive a voucher for the amount of the entire booking.
If you have separately booked an outbound & return flight (2 different booking numbers), you will only receive a voucher for the cancelled flight. You can send an email to customercare@mltours.nl with request to cancell/rebook your returnflight. ML tours will then deceide what we can do for you.
This is only applicable for unused flights.
 
This can request cannot be handled over the phone.
 
 
5. What happens if there will be a new Travel ban?
We depend on the Moroccan Government and our Partner Airlines for decisions that are made. They determine whether or not flights are allowed and what the options are for any repatriation flights.
As soon as we have more information, this will be published immediately on this page. We therefore recommend you to keep an eye on this page.
 
 
6. How can I book a repatriation flight?
As soon as we have more information about extra repatriation flights, we will publish this immediately on this page.
Those flights can only be booked by our webpage. There is no need to call or email us for this request.
 
 
7. Will future flights be canceled?
As a flight will be canceled, relevant passengers will be notified by email. We will also publish this information on this page.
