The pearl of the Orient in Morocco

The city of Oujda is one of the places in Morocco where traditions are deeply rooted due to its rich history. Oujda is a border city in Morocco, located in the far northeast of the country, on the edge of the eastern Rif region, close to Algeria. In 2018, Oujda was awarded the title “Arab Cultural Capital of the Year” and is a historic city known for its rich heritage, traditions, and atmosphere. The city is relatively small, welcoming, and successfully combines modernity with authenticity. Due to its historical connection with Nador and Algeria, Oujda has long served as a crossroads between Morocco and Algeria.
